Sharjah Energy and Water Authority (SEWA) in U.A.E. hosted the 5th edition of the Sharjah Energy Meet on 29th January 2019 and Johnson Controls Middle East & Africa had the pleasure and privilege of participating as a key partner in this prestigious event.

Sharjah Energy and Water Authority (SEWA) in U.A.E. hosted the 5th edition of the Sharjah Energy Meet on 29th January 2019 and Johnson Controls Middle East & Africa had the pleasure and privilege of participating as a key partner in this prestigious event.

Themed “Towards a Brighter Future,” the meet saw the gathering of key players in the industry at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sharjah. Dr. Rashid Alleem, Chairman of SEWA said, the 5th Sharjah Energy Meet focuses on ‘Growth, Expectations and Opportunities.’ The meet explores the industry’s commitment to a cleaner energy future, strategies employed to position companies for better success, technological advances that take the attendees further to energy security, and continuing implementation of practices that keep the industry safer than ever before.
Krishna Sankaran, Johnson Controls MEA’s Associate Director for Energy Solutions (GCC) highlighted, “SEWA is one of our valuable customers in the U.A.E. and we have been working with them as an energy service partner to lead in reducing the energy footprint in Sharjah, in line with their vision for a Green Sharjah. As part of the meet, Arul Joseph delivered a highly appreciated and recognized event presentation titled “Transformation of Energy Management and Customer Experience into the Digital Space,” giving us the opportunity to leverage on our digital offerings and solutions that address the needs of our customers across a wide array of market sectors, including the energy sector.
Adding value to our participation at the meet was a recognition bestowed to us by SEWA via the ‘Outstanding Booth Award” handed to the MEA Team by the SEWA Chairman himself. He described our booth as “innovative and consistent to the innovation theme of Johnson Controls.” Undoubtedly, the Johnson Controls MEA booth has successfully drawn immense attention at the meet.
