HVAC Controls

The core of Johnson Controls

Winter in Wisconsin in 1880. Professor Warren Johnson’s classroom was either too cold or too hot – which meant hourly interruptions by a janitor who came up to check temperatures and retreated to the basement to adjust furnace dampers. To solve the problem, Johnson invented the thermostat. Fast forward to the 21st century, and Johnson Controls systems are still keeping people comfortable. After all, “controls” is our middle name.
