Middle East & Africa team hosts Innovation Day in Dubai
The Middle East & Africa team recently held Innovation Day, a unique event where more than 200 valued customers and industry leaders gathered to discuss shaping smart, safe and sustainable data-enabled solutions, which will serve as bedrocks for smart cities and buildings of the future.
To begin the event, Claude Allain, vice president and general manager, MEA, addressed Breakthrough Innovation Products and Service Delivery throughout the past 30 years, stating, "an idea is a network of thoughts, and innovation is a network of ideas."
Brian Young, chief commercial officer, EMEALA, also joined the event where he gave a presentation on Building Digitalization: A Global Perspective.
One major highlight of the event included a Johnson Controls Smart City pavilion, which showcased our capabilities and solutions portfolio across Conventional and Digitized Controls integrated with Fire and Security. Customers were guided through the pavilion so they could experience firsthand the capabilities of our various products.
Throughout the event, the MEA team focused on a central concept, "Cultivating Innovation through Vision and Leadership," by gathering highly-esteemed leaders from different disciplines and business sectors to address how data-enabled Smart Cities are integral to smart, safe and sustainable development. Congratulations to all those involved in the successful execution of this event.
