Twinning Methods: The Ultimate in Rooftop HVAC Redundancy
Twinning allows multiple units to function together on a common supply and return duct shaft.
Twinning refers to the application where more than one rooftop unit is serving a shared supply and return duct. By operating units in unison, twinned systems can provide higher capacity and/or some system redundancy. Twinned systems are typically sized so all units must be operating to meet the worst-case demand of the building.
